At the Vittoria & District Community Centre (VDCC), which is used by many residents of Vittoria and district, as well as many others, the V&DF has provided new exterior signage; installed a plaque commemorating Vittoria's Bicentennial in 1996 and a community bulletin board, commissioned a wheelchair access ramp to the stage, and looked after some repainting and landscaping. In 2008, the V&DF partnered with Norfolk County Farm Credit Corporation Agrispirit Fund and local service clubs (the Vittoria Firefighters Association, the Vittoria Lioness, the Vittoria Lions Club, the Thompson Memorial Park Committee, the Vittoria & District Community Centre Committee, the Vittoria Women's Institute, the Vittoria Lamport Seniors Club) to completely refresh the VDCC.

At the Vittoria Town Hall, the V&DF spearheaded a partnership of local service organizations that supplied approximately $15,000 in community funds for restoration of this heritage building, used regularly by Seniors' groups and others. V&DF volunteers supervised the project and completed portions of the work. In 2008, the V&DF initiated a project to improve accessibility at the Vittoria Town Hall. Partners for this project included The Ontario Trillium Foundation and local service clubs (the Vittoria Lions Club, the Vittoria Women's Institute, the Vittoria Lamport Seniors Club and the Vittoria Foresters).

The V&DF has contributed $50,000 to the Norfolk General Hospital Family Fund to help finance Emergency Room Extension Project, plus $25,000 toward the CAT Scanner.

A $2,000 Scholarship is awarded annually by The V&DF to a deserving student from Vittoria and district.

Framed congratulatory milestone certificates are presented by the V&DF to every present and former resident (we are informed of) as they attain the age of 75, 80, 85, etc. Anniversary certificates are presented to honour and recognize 40, 45, 50 etc. years of marriage. Congratulatory certificates are presented for outstanding accomplishments in business or in life.

The V&DF gave approximately $2,500 to help upgrade water and septic systems at the Vittoria Scout House.

The V&DF purchased approximately $2,500 worth of materials and supplies to help initiate the Risk Watch Safety Program for students in the public and separate elementary schools within the district.

The V&DF Heritage Committee prepared and installed easels displaying laminated photos and historical and architectural comments in front of several historic sites in and around Vittoria, creating an interesting and informative Heritage Walking Tour. The easels have since been replaced with a Walking Tour brochure.

The V&DF contributed $2,000 to Project Green 125 at Walsh Public School, a student-centred conservation and environmental project.

Miscellaneous Youth Activities - The V&DF has contributed to the Norfolk Musical Arts Festival and the Young Theatre Players, purchased tents and other equipment for the local Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, and contributed $1,000 towards a Spray Park in Delhi.
